REALITY TV DOCUMENTARY SERIES

Audio post-production was delivered across two seasons of a reality-TV style documentary, designed to support narrative clarity, enhance comedic impact, and create a polished broadcast-ready sound.

Through detailed sound clean-up, dialogue mixing, sound design, and music selection, the project demonstrates how considered audio production can elevate storytelling and immerse audiences in unscripted content.

CONCEPT

Reality-based storytelling relies on authenticity, clarity, and emotional connection. The objective was to enhance the raw, unscripted nature of the series while ensuring a consistent and professional sonic experience across all episodes.

Audio needed to feel natural and unobtrusive, while still guiding the viewer through key narrative moments and emotional beats.

 

PROCESS

Extensive sound clean-up was undertaken to remove unwanted noise, artefacts, and inconsistencies inherent in on-location recording environments.
 

Dialogue mixing was prioritised to ensure clarity and balance across multiple speakers, environments, and recording conditions.

 

Sound design and music selection were carefully integrated to support pacing, reinforce key moments, and enhance the overall viewing experience without overpowering the natural tone of the series.

 

Each episode was mixed to broadcast standards, ensuring consistency, clarity, and depth across both seasons.

 

OUTCOME

The final audio delivers a seamless and engaging viewing experience, where dialogue remains clear, environments feel authentic, and music enhances the emotional narrative.

 

High-quality audio post-production has elevated the series to a broadcast-ready standard, supporting audience immersion and strengthening the overall impact of the storytelling across both seasons.

MUSIC AND SOUND ARE THE EMOTIONAL LANGUAGE OF FILM.         

PEAKY BLINDERS–THEMED CAFÉ COMMERCIAL

 

Through video editing using existing AI assets and audio post-production an emmersive commercial was produced reminiscent of a truly iconic television series, Peaky Blinders. 

 

CONCEPT
Conceived, built, and executed from the ground up, this is a fully realised spec commercial for a Peaky Blinders inspired cafe. 

The piece leans into the grit, tension, and atmosphere synonymous with Peaky Blinders, but has been reimagined through an original audio lens.
 

The result is a dark, immersive brand film that through strategic visual and audio selection and production feels as though it belongs in Small Heath itself.

 

PROCESS

Every sonic element was crafted from scratch, with no reliance on stock assets.


The soundscape was designed to feel tactile and cinematic, blurring the line between commercial and story.
 

A menacing, Birmingham-inspired voiceover anchors the piece, channelling the quiet authority of Tommy Shelby without imitation. Paired with a brooding rock track and dense atmospheric layers, the result is a cohesive, high-impact audio experience.
 

Audio production breakdown with full sound design (from scratch). Every ambient layer, texture, and transitional element was designed and custom built, ensuring complete control over tone, period accuracy, and emotional weight.
 

Voiceover direction and edit. Directed and shaped a Birmingham-influenced performance to feel authentic, restrained, and threatening.

A dark, brooding rock track was selected and mixed specifically for picture, enhancing pacing, tension, and overall cinematic impact.
 

Through atmosphere and texture layering a detailed environmental design created a rich, immersive space, from subtle room tone to heavier tonal elements that reinforce mood and setting.

Final stereo mix delivered to broadcast standard, ensuring clarity, punch, and consistency across platforms.
 

THE OUTCOME

The goal was simple: build a world you can feel.
 

An original, AI-assisted visual and audio-driven commercial that demonstrates the power of sound-led storytelling. No stock. No shortcuts. Just craft.

MERCEDES-BENZ G-CLASS COMMERCIAL


AI visual graphics for the iconic G-Wagen were used to compliment the impact of high-end,
detail-driven audio post-production.

CONCEPT

Centred around the unmistakable presence of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the piece uses original audio and soundscape design to compliment the visual narrative.

Every sonic detail  from engine character to surface interaction was crafted to elevate the vehicle’s power, precision, and cinematic appeal, while maintaining the integrity that a brand like Mercedes Benz so rightfully deserves.
 

THE APPROACH
To show the importance of vision and audio existing in harmony. No stronger story can be told. 

Rather than relying on stock elements or pre-existing layers, the entire track was reconstructed to create a more immersive and dynamic experience.

The sound design leans into weight, control, and mechanical presence, giving the vehicle a sense of authority and emotion in every frame. 
 

PROCESS

Full soundscape design, including cinematic sound design and foley layering
 

All dialogue, ambience, and environmental elements were developed creating a clean foundation for a cohesive and cinematic mix.

Custom-designed elements and Foley-style textures were layered to enhance realism, movement, and physicality across each scene.
 

Engine and vehicle detail design. The engine growl, acceleration, and handling characteristics were sculpted to reflect the strength and precision of the G-Class.

Score selection, music integration and automation were used to shape energy, pacing, and emotional impact throughout the piece.

Final mix delivered to broadcast standard, ensuring clarity, balance, and impact across all playback environments.

THE OUTCOME

A fully reconstructed, audio-first commercial that demonstrates how considered sound design can transform automotive content.
 

Every element is intentional. Every layer serves the story.
